"Celebration of Dance" concert
series is Arizona's contribution to National Dance Week's
campaign; "to help bring nationwide visibility
to the dance-arts."
(Arizona) Twenty to thirty dance companies and solo
artists are invited each year to display their creative
works. All dance styles are embraced in an exciting
evening of performance, truly a celebration of dance!
Produced
by Golden Lion Productions, Inc.
A non-profit (501 c3) organization serving
the community with creative projects and programs.
With group of industry professionals,
and a panel of judges who make the selection, and wonderful
volunteer committee.
Projects are headed by creator and founder:

The executive producer & director of Celebration
of Dance concert series
And Arizona's Delegate for National Dance Week.
Celebration of Dance is well organized and highly publicized
professional venue. Please join us for the 7th Annual
concert by attending or performing in this valuable
community event.

and or individual concerts.

*Looking for strong dancers, solo artists,
professional and non-professional dance company, and
dance groups.
*All dance styles are considered.
*Minimum age: 16 (we encourage all ages 16 and up)
*Lenght of dance piece: 2.5 min - 5 min.
*Live audition/present: 1-2 pieces only / you may
submit video for more entries, see video section below.
*Audition complete dance piece, preferebly in costume/wardrobe.
*Bring your cd and backup with you.
*Please note that this is not a competition,
this is a selection process for a live concert.
Comments, evaluation and critiques
are not available by any of our selection panelists.
We do not judge, we make selections from live and
video submissions.

Submission Deadline: March 11, 2006
* Must receive on or before March 11th.
* Each video must accompany a "submission
form"
* Submission Fee: $5.00 entry/handling fee
for each video submitted. Or $10.00 for each video
if you wish to have your video/s returned to you.
* NO promo tapes, complete dance piece as will
be performed will be accepted only.
* DVD's-we must be able to observe it on a
DVD player NOT on computer, make sure it is compatable
if you burn it on computer.

each year. The mission statement for National Dance
Week is: "To heighten the awareness of Dance
and its contributions to our culture. Dance is good
